Work description Summary
Art in Tanzania has partnered with UNICEF, Save the Children, and other NGOs as a part of The Children's Agenda Initiative in Tanzania. This program focuses on Tanzania's Early Childhood and Children's Rights issues.

Details
40 Tanzanian NGOs, including UNICEF and Save the Children, created The Children's Agenda program for Children Under School Age. The primary focus is on children's rights to education, medication, sanitation, and other needs. We also work closely with children's families to meet their needs. Art in Tanzania tailors its efforts as the media team leader to give visibility to the program and its results.

The program has ten key investment points: Invest to Save the Lives of Children and Women, Invest in Good Nutrition, Invest in Better Hygiene and Sanitation in

Schools and Health Facilities, Invest in Early Childhood Development, Invest in Quality Education for all Children, Invest in Make Schools Safe, Invest in Protect Infants and Adolescent Girls from HIV, Invest in Reduce Teenage Pregnancy, Invest in Protect Children from Violence, Abuse, and Exploitation and Invest in Children with Disabilities.

We use our Facebook pages' strong visibility (more than 50k followers) to advocate for the public in common.

The internship outcome is to learn to use your studies and experience to work in a developing country's conditions.

Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Your program can be from 2 weeks to 12 months. Commonly, an internship is 2-3 months long. The placement starting dates are flexible.

Academic-level team leaders supervise your internship daily. We monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to ensure you proceed well with your tasks.

The typical morning tasks include practical fieldwork in the schools and communities, and afternoons are for planning, reporting, and social media visibility functions.

The Benefits and Perks are as follows:

Accommodation with breakfast and dinner is EUR 175 per week and is a personal expense. However, the cost drops to EUR 125 weekly after the first 13 weeks.

Airport transfers from and to EUR 120 are a personal expense.

A charity student or volunteer VISA is USD 50 and is a personal expense. Less than a 1-year multiple-entry charity VISA is USD 250.

We pay a USD 100 per month stipend to you. It is small but 2x Tanzania's national minimum wage. The minimum participation time is four weeks for the assistance.

Flights are at personal expense.

The local transport program in Tanzania is a personal expense but small if needed.

You and your visiting friends can enjoy low-cost, sustainable tours and safaris.
