2. Project description and Aim
Energy recycling and reuse of the waste heat are essential for a sustainable society. Hotel kitchens are high energy users which consuming more energy per square meter than any other commercial space. The main objective of this work is to model and simulate waste heat recycling system within hotel kitchens for heating of swimming pool. The project will be performed at Ozonetech.
This project would include the following:
• Literature survey on modeling methods
• Create a research plan according to the time schedule
• Modeling and simulation of heat recycling system
• Economic analysis
• Thesis writing
3. Personal profile
Candidate profile:
• Energy process or mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Strong knowledge in heat transport phenomena and heat exchangers
• Experience in modelling is required
• Business-oriented mind
4. Scope
Expected scope: 10 or 20weeks, 15 or 30 HP/credits
Expected start: Spring 2020
