Business Finland is now looking for a full-time, fixed-term (7 months) Ecosystems trainee with a hands-on attitude and proactive mindset. As an Ecosystems trainee you will be a part of the Business Finland’s Network Services unit. The Network Services service area supports new, impactful growth business that is created in collaboration networks and innovation and business ecosystems in Finland and the European Union. The start date in this position will be 1.6.2021. Because of the current Covid-19 situation the work will start as remote work. In case the restrictions do change, the work location will be Business Finland's office in Ruoholahti.

Your role:

In this position, your job tasks include:

- Implement the recommendations of the external ecosystems assessment for the improved service description
- Interview the experts of ecosystems services about the assessment recommendations: if and how these recommendations should be implemented to practical level
- Compile recommendations of the assessment and allocate them on existing ecosystems services as well as possible new service needs
- Test service ideas with ecosystems customers and stakeholders
- Help to update necessary service descriptions
- Assist in the design and implementation of orientation materials

What we expect from you:

- Relevant educational background from university or university of applied sciences (for example business, information networks, innovation management or industrial engineering)
- Work experience in office or administrative work (e.g. research interviewers, survey analyzes, providing materials or data handling). Competence in service design is considered as an advantage
- Proactive working style and capability to thrive under pressure, handle tight schedules effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team: you are socially at ease in a multicultural environment
- Fluent communication skills in English and in Finnish and very good skills in the Office 365 -environment, especially in PowerPoint
