Business Finland is now looking for a full time, fixed-term (5 months) EU collaboration trainee with an hands-on attitude and proactive mindset. Working in Business Finland’s EU collaboration unit offers you an excellent chance to start your career and work closely with a dynamic and experienced team of 13 professionals! In return we hope that you can thrive under pressure, handle tight schedules well, and have altogether good organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team will help you to succeed in this position. We would like you to start as soon as possible, at the latest on 1.8.2021. Because of the current Covid-19 situation, the work will be a mix of remote work and work at the Business Finland’s office in Ruoholahti, Helsinki.

Your role:
You will get an opportunity to work in a fast-moving and truly global organization, offering you a unique view into international markets and business environments. When working in Business Finland, you will meet colleagues and partners from all over the world from many different industries, companies and organizations, and you will have an opportunity to influence within the core of innovations and international cooperation.

In this position, your job tasks include for example:

- Diverse communications tasks: mainly related to online communication such as website updates, social media content creation and online communications development
- Collecting and analyzing participant feedback from past events, updating information in CRM system and planning and executing future events with the team
- Information gathering and analysis for an external impact assessment project

What we expect from you:

- Relevant educational background from university or university of applied sciences (e.g. finance, economics, communication or marketing)
- Fluent oral and written English and Finnish
- Some experience in content creation and understanding of social media platforms as communications channels
- Analytical mindset to be able to contribute to the continuous development of Business Finland’s communication and customer service activities
- Good skills in the Office 365 -environment
- Previous experience in international business or exchange studies is considered as an advantage
