Unilever has more than 400 brands found in homes around the world, including Persil, Dove, Knorr, Domestos, Hellmann’s, Lipton, Wall’s, PG Tips, Ben & Jerry’s, Marmite, Magnum and Lynx. Faced with the challenge of climate change and the need for human development, we want to move towards a world where everyone can live well and within the natural limits of the planet. That’s why our purpose is ‘to make sustainable living commonplace”.

We are currently looking for a HR Specialist, to join the ranks of Unilever, a globally present FMCG-company, as soon as possible (latest in mid-August, 2021). As HR Specialist you are responsible for employee policies, practices as well as programs, and for them being applied across the company in order to ensure End-to-End (E2E) Employee Experience. You proactively work with different internal and external stakeholders. You act as the primary point of contact for all business leaders, line managers and employees as well as outsourced payroll. Internally you are known as the People Experience Lead following through Key Employee Moments (KEMs), such as on-boarding, advancement planning, job rotation, pay and benefits queries/grievances, warning procedures and exit discussions. Moreover, you take a strategic approach to employee relations providing operational support and guidance for business leaders and line managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence, redundancy processes, etc. in line with local governance and legislation. So, you own the End-to-End Employee Experience ensuring the right experience on any Key Employee Moment leveraging also available technology!

As HR Specialist, you are proactive and have demonstrated the ability to work both independently as well as in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, you are service-minded and have solid relationship management skills: you might already have some experience in participating in mediations as well as playing a part in alternative dispute resolution.

Are you the ice cream to our cone?
- You have Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field
- You have relevant generalist experience within HR as well as broad understanding of the HR scene and processes
- You have a digital mindset and you are comfortable working with not only MS Office 365, especially Excel, but also with different HR systems (e.g. Workday and ServiceNow)
- You have good interpersonal and communication skills in Finnish and English

We consider as an asset:
- Prior Knowledge and interest towards employment matters, Labour Law and Regulations, as well as towards working with 3rd party service providers

What’s in it for you?
You will be a part of a small, but professional team of three and work alongside brilliant and inspiring business leaders, colleagues and other key stakeholders. In this meaningful position, you will also have the chance of working very independently in creating a positive environment for our employees. Besides your own line of work within HR, you will also get experience working with great - around the world well-loved - brands that improve the lives of not only our consumers and the communities around us, but also our own employees. All in all, you will get experience working in a successful, purpose-led FMCG-organization with truly interesting, versatile and challenging tasks!

In this position, you will be employed as aTalent employee and the starting position is 5 months fixed term to cover maternity leave, but further opportunities for high performers are not excluded.

If you want to land the coolest job within HR, please submit your CV and application letter in PDF-format ASAP, but at least by the latest 8th of July 2021 via our application system: https://emp.jobylon.com/applications/jobs/88117/create/.
