Phaver is a fast-growing Web3 company that aims to build a future where your online social graph is owned and built by you, not companies. Over the last few years and after a recent sizable funding round Phaver has grown rapidly. Now they are seeking for accelerated growth with an ecosystem partner token launch scheduled for this spring. As the company enters its next phase of growth, Phaver is now seeking a skilled Mobile Developer to join its team of professionals.

Phaver offers a Web3-based, decentralized social media application, which is integrated with blockchain-based graphs by Lens Protocol and CyberConnect. The business is based on a mobile app and the main tech stack currently includes e.g. TypeScript, React Native, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes. With +300,000 downloads, its one of the biggest apps in the industry at the moment.

As a Mobile Developer, youll join a development team of seven developers. Your main responsibility is to design and implement new features to the Phaver app and improve the platform while delivering robust and scalable code. On a daily basis, youll work with agile practices and support the entire application lifecycle by e.g. planning and developing new features, gathering requirements, suggesting solid solutions and ensuring that the app is running smoothly. In addition to maintaining the existing software, youll also get to participate in longer-term vision-defining, product development planning, and improving the architecture.

You might be the developer we are looking for if you are a self-driven team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced startup environment and has the ability to cope with pressure and prioritize. We hope you have already gained solid experience from working with commercial consumer applications and have strong React Native know-how. Also working with native modules or components interacting with Kotlin, Java, Swift or Objective C is familiar to you. Excellent user experience is at the core of your work and you have the vision and skills to translate different business needs into a user-friendly app.

We require you to have:
- Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript and experience in working with commercial consumer application with thousands to millions of users
- Solid experience in mobile development on Android/iOS
- Passion for building high-quality, scalable, maintainable, and performant software
- A genuine interest in technology and willingness to improve your skillset
- Full proficiency in English

We consider as an asset:
- Previous experience in test automation
- Contributing to React/React Native open source libraries
- Good skills with mobile animations
- Enthusiasm or/and previous knowledge of cryptocurrencies and Web3 companies, platforms, and networks
- Finnish language skills

Phaver has an office in central Helsinki, Kamppi, but there is flexibility to choose where you would like to work day-to-day. This is a permanent and full-time position, and you will be employed directly by Phaver.
